As a follow-up subscriber notice 2020-05, intentional crosses on Omega ATS and Lynx ATS will be accepted without the bypass FIX tag starting December 7, 2020.

Intentional crosses entered without the bypass FIX tag will be checked against the protected market data feed and will be rejected back to the subscriber if the execution price is outside of this quote. As Lynx ATS is an unprotected marketplace, non-bypass crosses are not checked against better priced Lynx ATS quotes and can trade through a lit Lynx ATS quote. All intentional crosses on Omega ATS and Lynx ATS do not interact with other orders in the trading book meaning there is no interference.
