Omega wishes to remind subscribers that OPR is currently available in our test environment as per our November 3rd notice (OPR 2010-03). We would encourage everyone who plans on using Omega for price protection to test this.
Although Omega currently defaults all orders to protection re-price if no protection tags (6820, 6821) are sent with the order, we have also implemented functionality which would enable subscribers to choose a default at the session level. All orders submitted through specified sessions will be subject to the session default except when an override is explicitly specified on the order. The options which can be set at the session level are:
Protect Re-price
Protect Cancel
DAO (Do not protect)
Please contact Omega support by email if you wish to set defaults on particular sessions, otherwise, the standard Protect Re-price will be selected. An overnight cycle will be required before the changes take effect.
