We are pleased to announce that Omega Securities Inc. (“Omega”) has changed its corporate name to Tradelogiq Markets Inc. (“Tradelogiq”) and has launched a new web site, www.tradelogiq.com.

The rebranding of Omega to Tradelogiq signals a new direction for our company. With new ownership, new management, and an upgraded technology platform, Tradelogiq has positioned itself to be a fast-moving, responsive partner with its subscribers and clients.

We chose the name Tradelogiq because we believe it reflects what we stand for and offer: intelligent, agile trading platforms supported by superior technology and service.

Since the acquisition of a controlling interest in the Company by Matchpoint Financial Corp. in February 2019, Martin Piszel, Director of Trading and Business Development and I have focused our efforts on improving the quality of our services, in particular, enhancing our marketplaces; Omega ATS and Lynx ATS, each of which will retain their respective names.

In recent months we added incredible talent to our team. Rinosh Chacko, Chief Technology Officer, has held senior technology roles at several financial technology companies, most recently at Virtu/ITG, and is a Governing Body member of Toronto CIO. Paul Romain, Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Market Structure, was previously with the Ontario Securities Commission and is a seasoned compliance and regulatory professional. Bob Lupmanis, Director of Market Data Services, previously held several leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, and has been active in the Canadian FinTech community developing sales strategies for emerging technologies. Gabriel Lupovici, Director of Sales, has held senior sales and trading roles at both BMO Capital Markets and Iress Canada. Deborah Thompson, Director of Marketing and Media Relations, is a former financial journalist, covering Canadian securities markets, and is an experienced marketer from the financial services sector.
