As a part of Omega Securities Inc.’s transition to TR2, OSI is introducing a new market data service designed to increase efficiency and improve performance for all marketplace participants – Multicast Market Data. This new market data facility will be available for testing in OSI’s Global Test Environment (GTE), beginning today (August 15th, 2016). All Canadian trading participants, subscribers, and vendors, may be granted access to our GTE in order to test this new market data functionality. This new distribution service will include market data for both Omega ATS and Lynx ATS.

Although OSI intends to continue to offer our standard unicast market data services, we encourage all participants to consider the new multicast services. We anticipate that the multicast market data services will be available in our production environment by mid to end of September 2016, pending regulatory approval.
